W N Powell & Sons Ltd undertake a variety of building work from general maintenance through to house extensions and office refurbishments.

We can also offer a complete maintenance package for companies in both the Commercial and Industrial sector with tradesmen from the full spectrum of the building industry on our books from bricklayers, joiners and plasterers to electrician, plumbers and decorators.

We have considerable experience in carrying out disabled adaptation works (DFG's) having worked closely with both Blackburn and Hyndburn Borough Councils over the past 10 years covering such works as low-level shower installations and widening doorways to forming access ramps and fitting grab-rails.

For the past couple of years we have been working closely with the surveyors from Lancashire County Council on various alteration & refurbishment projects in schools through-out the East Lancashire area.
